  1. Was ssl3 disabled in this release?

    1. QupZilla makes use of the SSL-support in the network module of the Qt-framework. If you want to disable SSL, then you will have to compile Qt from sources without SSL-support.

    2. Thanks for the reply Jon.
My understanding is; unless the website has disabled ssl3 at their end, we would be experiencing an insecure connection with Qupzilla.
This would be the same situation with Midori or any browser using the Qt-framework.

    1. I second that. I run Qupzilla on linux and have experienced the same situation. Even if I close all tabs but the one I'm using, or use the delete data option, Qupzilla keeps devoring ram space! To me this is a show stopper.

    2. Does one of the tabs contain a flash player?

    3. I have the same problem use 185 mb without flash installed

    4. How did you measure the RAM space used?

    5. There is definitely a memory problem on my computer using Qupzilla 1.8.4 too (2 GB ram, 5 GB swap, Kubuntu 14.10). Somethimes, after a while, it occurs, obviously not related to flash (not opened) and not to the number of opened tabs. I can see the memory usage goes beyond 3-5 GB and the system becomes very slow. After closing Qupzilla, the memory is released. This happens also if only Qupzilla is running. I use KSysGuard to monitor the memory usage. Really bad, since this browser should be lightweight.

  4. Is it possible to add a new function to open multiple selected bookmarks at the same time (in multiple tabs)? Would be great :)

    1. You will just have to do a middle-mouse-click on a folder, that contains multiple bookmarks. All of them will be opened at the same time in a new tab.

  5. For me its not possible to copy an text from an textfile on my owncloud account to... maybe the browserbar or into an other text or something else. I can "cut" or "copy" the text but i cannot paste it.

I also tried the same with Firefox and there it works.

    2. Yes. It was fixed upstream in QtBrowser.
      https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-43149

Tanks for reporting to Qt and testing by your configuration. Waiting for the next QupZilla :D

    1. This issue does not occur with Qt-5.4.0 + QtWebkit 538.1. Unfortunately there is no windows package with an updated Qt yet.
