    1. Generally speaking the ability to play html5 content is provided by QtWebkit. There is no possibility to activate html5 support in QupZilla manually. However, I am not sure, if QtWebkit, that is included in the windows installer package, is compiled with html5 support.
You can check this by invoking the website http://html5test.com and look for the result.

    1. Go to Menu -> Preferences -> Extensions and check "Allow Application Extensions to be loaded". Then check the desired extensions, see screenshot:

  6. I'm disappointed by QupZilla. It's just another chrome wanna-be.

  7. Hi QupZilla !

We need to control the favorite sites between Up & Down
I mean "Arrangement" the favorite sites and folders
We need to provision more of RAM memory if possible
Sometimes freezes the browser and then breaks down when moving from video to another in YouTube, maybe problem with Flash player

    I'm waiting next version
    Thank you in advance

  8. I just discovered Qupzilla, first for Linux (Lubuntu14.04).
I also tried it then in WinXP, where I was surprised to find out that Flashplayer video streaming was working there. But I yet have not been able to get it working in Lubuntu.

    1. Please verify, that flash-player is installed on your system and that it is available for QupZilla. Go to Menu -> Configuration information and look for the section 'extensions'. You should see something like Shockwave Flash Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202.
Then go to Menu -> Preferences -> Browsing and check "Allow Netscape Plugins (Flash Plugin)"

    1. Maybe you can send your bookmarks file to David privately to allow some investigations?

    2. What browser are you trying to import from when it crashes? I tired with FF and had no issues. Currently I am using Kali and Qupzilla.

  10. This version (standard and portable edition) doesn't work under Windows 8.1 Update 1 x64. When I launch qupzilla.exe, an error message appears:

"QupZilla Web Browser funktioniert nicht mehr"

Already tried to run it in compatiblity mode (Windows 7), but this has no effect.

  11. Qupzilla is awesome, I think it should be considered as the default browser on light weight Linux distributions or desktop environments.
Could you please provide some instructions on how building from source code on OS X?

    1. Please look at this document
      https://github.com/QupZilla/qupzilla/blob/master/BUILDING
and go for section MAC OS X.
Honestly, I do not have OS X and thus no experience with compiling QupZilla on it, but I hope, this short instruction will help.
