  2. Could you explain to an absolute novice how to install this source code download?

    1. nm... just had to extract it. consider me embarrassed. :-p

  3. Is the update in the repo for Ubuntu yet? Qupzilla alerted me to the update but Muon says there is no update. It is still 1.6.3. :(

  4. Thank you so much for the work. I really enjoy every day usage of Qupzilla. Not only that it is available for OS/2 also because it has tabs on bottom and so many user friendly options. Once again a giant thank you to David Rosca!

  5. One thing about AdBlock. I have been monitoring the behavior of the plug-in with Firefox and have noticed that it contacts several servers belonging to AdBlock. These are like, adblockserver.9, and 8 and so on. Seems a bit strange if it was just private initiative. Found AdBlock over at and they are alerting that AdBlock are reporting home which sites you are visiting. This seems to be confirming my suspicions that AdBlock has been hijacked by some company. So I have stopped using it.

  6. Thanks a lot for the new release! Great project!

  7. slight problem in 1.6.4, the KWallet Passwords plugin is broken due to missing version bump in a silly version test function. Here's a patch for anyone that needs it. I didn't see any easy way to submit a patch on github, so you get it as a blog comment.Hopefully it doesn't get mangled, but even if it does, I think it's obvious enough what the fix is.

    1. Hi Matthew. I´ve open an issue with this. You can check it here:

    2. Ironically, the patch is ok on this blog, but it got mangled when you copied it to GitHub (- and + converted to bullets, one newline removed seemingly randomly).

    3. Sorry about that. I´ve only made an copy & paste. But I´m pretty sure nowrep knows how to fix.

    4. Yeah, not your fault, it's GitHub's fault. Ironic because GitHub is for joint development, yet it can't handle a patch in a ticket.

Nowrep knows and will be making a new release soon

  8. I only use Qupzilla portable in Win8.1 x64. And everytime, in Qupzilla, I set mouse scroll speed from 3 to 5 (faster scroll), I can see scroll becoming slower in Firefox portable. Why?..
